The Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam carries out ground-breaking research to defeat the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. In April 2020, we donated a percentage of sales from private shopping and store openings over a three-week period to the Erasmus MC Foundation, the official support fund of the Erasmus Medical Centre. Read more about their work here.

The Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis (OLVG) is one of the biggest hospitals in Amsterdam. In May 2020, we showed our love and appreciation by gifting 100 Born to Love sweatshirts to staff. We also contributed 500 'I'm Smiling' face masks to the goodbye packages the hospital put together for recovered corona patients.
Find out more about the OLVG here.

The Voedselbank (Food Bank) is a non-profit organisation in the Netherlands that distributes food to those in need. In April 2020, employees from our offices took part in a fundraiser by donating their lunch money over a period of six weeks. This donation went towards supporting the day-to-day running of the organisation and the transportation of food packages. Learn more about the work of the Voedselbank here.

Serve the City is a global movement of volunteers centred around practical acts of kindness to people in need. They partner with homeless shelters, refugee centres, orphanages, and other associations, offering help and support. They mobilize volunteers through sports, music, arts, food and friendship. Serve the City is a global network with a local approach. In Amsterdam, we partnered with Serve the City to donate clothing to the homeless and face masks to volunteers. For initiatives in your local area, visit servethecity.net.

The LGBTQ+ Freedom Fund is a non-profit that posts bail to secure the safety and liberty of low-income people in jail and immigration detention in the United States. Their mission is to fight the mass jailing of LGBTQ+ people – who are disproportionately incarcerated in America – and to raise awareness of it. In June 2020, we donated 10% of USA sales from our Outlet towards the Freedom Fund. Learn more about their work here.

The WDHOF is an international non-profit society focussing on the recognition of female divers who have made an outstanding contribution to the exploration, understanding, safety and enjoyment of the ocean. The foundation promotes opportunities for women and men in diving through scholarships, training grants and mentorship opportunities. To celebrate International Women's Day, we partnered with WDHOF to create a one-off special grant as a tribute to Simone Melchior Cousteau, the French ocean explorer that inspired our Summer 2021 collection. The grant is open to women conducting research that promotes the sustainability of marine, estuarine or freshwater species communities or ecosystems, or the development of technology that fosters aquatic research. Read more about the WDHOF here.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) is leading the global effort against the pandemic by supporting countries around the world in prevention, detection and treatment of the virus. In April 2020, we donated 10% of all worldwide sales to support the United Nations Foundation's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organisation. With thanks to the UN foundation for mentioning us on their Supporters page.

Based in New York City, the Ali Forney Center is committed to saving the lives of LGBTQ+ young people through a 24-hour program providing shelter, food, transitional housing and job readiness training for homeless youth. By creating a safe, warm and supportive environment to escape the streets, the Ali Forney Center's mission is to protect LGBTQ+ youth from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently. A portion of proceeds from our Love Wins collection will be donated to the Ali Forney Center. For more information or to get involved, please visit www.aliforneycenter.org.
