Payment
Once you have completed the check out page you have to agree with the terms and conditions to get redirected to the payment page. We accept numerous payment methods.

We take your online security very seriously. Personal and payment information is safe and no data is sent over without encryption. Protecting your information is our highest priority. All orders are transmitted over secure internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology and other measures.
The Card Security Code (CVC/CVV/CID) is an additional three or four digit security code that is printed (not embossed) on the front or back of your credit card. The CVC/CVV/CID is an extra security measure to ensure that you are in possession of your own credit card.
If your card is authorised, the payment will be taken immediately and you will receive an e-mail confirming your order has been successful. Only paid orders will be handled. We will not charge you (afterwards) for any failed payment transactions.
Delivery
You will be notified by e-mail at various stages during the dispatching process of your order. If you have an account, you can login and check "My Orders" for the current status of your order. 
We try to send packages within 24 hours with the exception of weekends and during bank holidays. After your order is shipped you will receive a tracking number by e-mail to follow your package along its trip.

When choosing for Same Day Delivery (ordered before 11:30 in the morning) you will receive your order with Trunkrs. Shipments with Same Day Delivery will take place from Monday to Friday from 17:00 till 22:00, holidays excepted. The option Same Day Delivery can be chosen at the step “Choose shipment method” in the order process. The costs for the Same Day Delivery are € 9.95.
Unfortunately we are unable to change a delivery address once the order has been dispatched. Please note that we won’t ship your package again if you weren’t able to collect your package.
Once your order is sent, you will receive a tracking number by e-mail to follow your package along its trip to your doorstep. Feel free to contact Customer Service if you have any further questions or concerns regarding the shipment of your order.
Your order will be delivered within 1-2 working days. Our packages are shipped with UPS, a signature may be required on receipt. If you are not around to take the delivery of your parcel, the carrier will leave a calling card telling you how to collect your package. Alternatively, UPS will try two more times to deliver the package.
Shipping is free for any order over €50,-. Any order under €50 will be charged €4.95 per order.
If you receive a wrong item or something is missing, feel free to contact Customer Service. Please send as many details as possible including specific order numbers.
Returning

Returns

Right of withdrawal

If for whatever reason you wish to return your online purchase, you can return unused items within 60 days of receiving your complete order. This is called the withdrawal period. Please note that our fragrances and detergent can’t be returned when the seal is broken. If you have received a damaged or faulty item, please first contact us here so we can help you out in the best way.

Also, we need to receive the returned items within the 60 day withdrawal period. You can return the items in two ways: by post/courier, or in an official Scotch & Soda shop in the Netherlands.

If you decide to return an item, please use our Online Return Portal, as this is the most sustainable option. If you prefer paper, you can also download our return form here.


By Post

Returning your order by post or courier is free of charge. We are not responsible for products that are returned to us in error. We do recommend you use a courier service which provides insurance for the value of the items you return or at least provides you with proof of shipment.

Make sure the items you want to return are properly packaged.

  • Put the item(s) you wish to return
  • Please stick the return label onto the package, covering the old label and bring your package to a drop-off point. Please make sure you keep the shipping receipt as proof.
  • Please note that we can only accept items which are undamaged and have the original labels attached.

Your refund will be processed within 7 days after we have received your return in our warehouse. The amount of your return will be refunded via the original payment method.


At an official Scotch & Soda store

You have the possibility to return your order in one of our official Scotch & Soda Stores in the Netherlands. You can find your closest official store via our Storefinder.

  • Bring a proof of purchase such as the delivery note or order confirmation.
  • When the return meets all conditions set out on the "Returns" page, you will receive a delivery receipt in the store. Please keep it safe.

Reimbursement

When you have used your right of withdrawal, we will refund the amount paid for the item concerned (including shipping costs – if any) without delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of the message that you wish to terminate the agreement. Note that we must have received the item or that you can prove that you have returned the item. If you have chosen a different shipping method than the cheapest standard delivery method used by Scotch & Soda, we won't repay any extra costs resulting from this.

Unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, we will refund you by using the same payment method you used to purchase the item. In any case, there will be no charge for this refund.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to exchange items.

During the 60 day withdrawal period, you can use the product to the extent necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the article in the same way that you would do in a physical store. For example, you may fit the article, but do not wear it outside.

When you return an item that you have damaged, has been washed, the labels have been removed, the item is incomplete or contains other signs of wear showing that you have used the item more extensively than described above, you are liable for any depreciation in the value of the item. Scotch & Soda will deduct this of from the total amount to be refunded to you.


Defective items

Besides your right of withdrawal, you are entitled by law to a proper product, or as the law calls it 'a product that complies with the agreement'. Should this not be the case, you are (depending on the circumstances) eligible for an exchange of the item or a full refund. If you have a complaint about a product you have purchased online, please contact customer support. Please provide as much information as possible, preferably including the order numbers in question.

We will notify you by email once we have received the items. It may take a while to process your return. You will receive immediately and within 14 business days a refund after you have let us know you want to return the items. We hold the right to wait with the actual refund until the moment we have received the returned item or that you can prove the item has been returned to us.
Ordering
You don’t need an account to order in our webstore. However, setting up an account will allow you to view past orders and the status of your current order. Creating an account is easy and can be done at the checkout.
If you forget your password you can easily request a new one by using the "Forgot Password" button on the log in page. When you enter your e-mail address a new password will be sent automatically. If you are (still) having login problems, please feel free to contact Customer Service.
Unfortunately, we can't change your order after you've placed it. This includes changing the size and colour of an item, removing an item or changing the delivery address. You do have the right to cancel the entire order within the 30-day grace period. You can find more information here about your right to cancel the agreement.
You have the right to cancel your order. Please keep in mind we go out of our way to deliver the order as fast as possible. So it may be shipped already. If it's already shipped, you can refuse to accept the package when the courier arrives with it. You can find more information here about your right to cancel the agreement within the 30-day grace period.

Faulty article
You should inspect Scotch & Soda goods for faults as soon as you receive them. If you think there is a defect, please let us know straight away by contacting Customer Service explaining what’s wrong and attaching photo’s to your message. Please note that we must be notified within 14 days if any items received are defective or damaged.

All you have to do is create an account online or in one of our stores, or sign up for our newsletter!
Yes! If you've already got an online account, you automatically become a member.
There are actually three ways to sign up as a member: via our website, app or in one of our stores.
Sign up for our newsletter via your digital account page or at the bottom of our website.
All that's left to do is to create a password, which you can do via the store account creation email we've sent you, or by going to our website and creating an account online. Please fill in the same email address you gave our team in-store, and we'll finalise your digital Club Soda account for you.
Unfortunately, we aren't able to add your in-store purchases to your digital account just yet. But we're working hard to make this possible for you very soon.
No worries! You can simply request a new one. Just go to our login page and click "forgot password". Enter your email address and we'll send you an e-mail with instructions on how to create a new password. If you're having trouble, our consumer care team will be more than happy to help! Didn't receive an email? Please check your spam folder. If your email address isn't recognised by our system, please create a new account.
A card will be created for you automatically after you've created an account. You can access your digital member card – including your personal QR code – on your account page via our app or website. You'll also receive a welcome email that'll include your card. You can then download and add your card to your mobile wallet for easy access. Already got an account? You should have received an email from us with your digital member card.
You can manage all your data from your account. For example, you can change your name, email address, password, or telephone number, or add or change your standard delivery address.
Having a digital-only member card has lots of benefits. It won't take up any space in your wallet, and you'll always have it with you on the go – either on your Scotch & Soda app or in your mobile wallet. If you do prefer to have a physical copy, you can always print it!
The correct handling of your personal data is extremely important to us. Nevertheless, you may have a reason to want to delete your account. You can of course always inform us of this via the contact form on our website. We will then delete all data that can be traced back to you as quickly as possible (except the data that we are permitted or obligated to keep by law). Please note: you will lose the benefits of having an account. Perhaps you would prefer to unsubscribe from our newsletter instead?
