How to measure for boys' jackets

When measuring for jackets, you’ll need to work out the size of your boy’s chest, waist and body. You won’t need to worry about how to measure for a boy’s jacket sleeve as this isn’t one of the calculations we use when providing our sizes. This process is valid for everything from boys' winters coats to lightweight jackets.

• To find the measurement of your boy’s chest, measure around the widest part of the chest/body when his arms are by his side.
• His waist size will be the narrowest point of his torso, usually around the midsection or just above the belly button.
• To calculate the size of his body, measure him from head to toe.
