What do I do if there is a payment issue?

If your payment is having any issues, please contact your credit card company or our Customer Service team for further assistance.

What do I do when I get a payment error message?

Please check all your information again. (Name, card number, expiration date, CVC code, billing address)

When will I be charged?

If your card is authorized, the payment will be taken immediately and you will receive an e-mail confirming your order has been successful. We will not charge you (afterwards) for any failed payment transactions.
Delivery

What is the status of my order?

You will be notified by e-mail when your order has shipped, including its tracking number. If you have an account, you can login and check "My Orders" for the current status of your order. 

When will my order be shipped?

Processing and shipping time takes 2-7 business days. We try our best to send packages within 48 hours, with the exception of weekends and during bank holidays. After your order is shipped you will receive a tracking number by e-mail. Please note during large sales events, there might be a slight delay in processing your order.

Can I change my address?

Unfortunately we are unable to change a delivery address once the order has been submitted. Please note that we won’t ship your package again if you weren’t able to collect your package.

What shipping options do you offer?

We currently offer Canada Post Standard.

On occasion, such as large sales events, there may be a slight delay in processing your order. We make every effort to process your order as quickly as we can. Please be advised that Canada Post can be delayed with packages due to weather conditions.

What are the shipping costs?

We now offer free standard shipping for all Canadian orders.

Do you ship from Canada?

Yes, the products are now shipped from Canada.

Will I be charged customs and import fees?

We no longer charge customs and import fees. Canadian orders will only be charged provincial taxes associated with the shipping address provided.

Return request form

If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your online purchase and ordered after 4/4/2018, please submit your online request form by following the instructions on this link: https://www.scotch-soda.com/ca/en/return-request

What is your return policy?

Returns

If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your online purchase, you may return unused articles with their original tags attached within 30 days of receipt (own expense). Please note that our perfumes can't be returned. For hygienic reasons, final sale on all earrings, underwear, and swimwear. We reserve the right to refuse return of any merchandise that does not meet our return requirements.

Online orders cannot be returned to stores. For security reasons, we do not allow hand delivery of returns to our warehouse. Please note, we don’t accept returns of Scotch & Soda items purchased from third-party retailers. Please directly contact the third-party retailer where you made your purchase for information on their return policy.

If you have received a defective item, please contact Customer Service at consumercare@scotch-soda.com with a photo of the defective item.

How to submit your return:
- Select “Request a return here” in your shipping confirmation email or click on this return link https://www.scotch-soda.com/ca/en/return-request/
- If you have an account with us, log into your account on our website and select “Order History”, then select “Request Return” in the Order History page

Next, follow these steps:
- Please select the product(s) you want to return and provide the reason of your return.

Return option 1: Use shipping label inside package
- Your package should contain a return label inside your package. The return label is pre-paid and pre-addressed.  No additional postage is required. A return shipping charge of C$7.95 will be automatically deducted from your refund.  If for some reason, you lost the pre-paid return label, please contact Customer Service at  consumercare@scotch-soda.com.
- Once you confirm your return, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
- Please stick the return label provided in your shipped box on top of the shipping label and bring your package to the nearest Canada Post location. Please make sure you keep the shipping receipt as proof.
- Make sure you include the original invoice inside the package. If you misplaced your invoice, please include your name and order number inside the package.

Return option 2: Send it yourself
We highly recommend for our customers to use the pre-paid return label.  However, if you do not wish to use the return label provided, you can send the item back to the following address. Make sure you include the original invoice inside the package. If you misplaced your invoice, please include your name and order number inside the package. We recommend that all returns be sent with a traceable carrier. Keep the return tracking number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned to our warehouse. Please note, Scotch & Soda is not responsible for packages sent with a return label not provided by us and you will be returning the package at your own expense.

Once we receive your returned items, all goods will be inspected. Articles must be returned undamaged and the original labels must be attached. Any item in unsuitable condition will be rejected. We will refund the returned goods within 14 days to the account you paid with.

Can I do exchanges?

Unfortunately we aren’t able to exchange your return. Once we receive your return in good condition, we will refund the returned articles within 14 working days. If the article you are looking for is still available, you can make a new order in our webstore.

What if my article is damaged or faulty?

If you have received a defective or faulty item from an online purchase, please contact Customer Service at consumercare@scotch-soda.com with a photo of the defective item within 3 months of the purchase date.

If you purchased an article more than 3 months ago and it is now damaged, unfortunately we are unable to offer you a compensation. If this was a production fault, the damage would have appeared within the 3 months. We would kindly like to remind you that the way the article is worn and washed has a big influence on the fabric.

Have you received my returned goods?

As soon as we receive your return in our warehouse, we will notify you by e-mail. Please note that it takes a while to process your return. A refund will follow within 14 working days.

Refund?

A refund is made within 14 days of receiving your return order. The amount can only be refunded back to the original form of payment. Please note, due to the volume of orders and returns during the holidays, your refund can take up to 20 days.

I have a complaint about an article I bought in a Scotch & Soda store

Ordering

How do I place an order?

Just simply add the item(s) into your shopping bag and click checkout or click View shopping bag. The website will walk you through the steps to complete the order.

How do I check my order status?

If you have an account, you can check the status of your order by signing in and looking under your account history.

Did my order go through?

The confirmation page will appear after payment is submitted. A confirmation email will also be sent to your email address with the order information shortly after. An error message might appear. In this case, please contact Customer Service for further assistance at 1-866-544-1557.

Where can I enter in a promotional code?

During certain promotional periods, you will be able to enter in the promotional code in “View shopping bag.” Promotional codes are seasonal and only apply if entered during checkout. We do not offer any adjustments.

Do you offer any price adjustments?

Unfortunately, we do not offer price adjustments on previous purchases. Once an order has been placed, you accepted the listed price.

Can I cancel or modify my order before it ships?

Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes, including cancellations, to orders after they have been submitted. We are not responsible for typos made during the checkout process. Please double check all your information before submitting your order.

What if my item is out of stock?

If an item is out of stock, we will adjust your order and provide a refund for the missing items within 5-7 business days.

Can I purchase a gift card online?

Unfortunately, you cannot purchase or redeem gift cards online at this time. Gift cards purchased in stores can only be used in stores.

I want items showing on the model photo but I cannot locate on your site?

Unfortunately, if an item is not showing as available to purchase then that item is either not available in Canada or already out of stock.

Can I order from the other global sites?

Sorry, the other country sites cannot ship to customers in Canada.

Faulty article

I have received a faulty item from your webstore

You should inspect Scotch & Soda goods for any damages as soon as you receive them. If you think there is a defect, please let us know right away by contacting Customer Service consumercare@scotch-soda.com explaining what’s wrong and attaching photos to your message. We would be happy to help you. Please note that we must be notified within 7 days if any items received are defective or damaged.
