Payment
Once you have completed the check out page you have to agree with the terms and conditions to get redirected to the payment page. We accept numerous payment methods.

We take your online security very seriously. Personal and payment information is safe and no data is sent over without encryption. Protecting your information is our highest priority. All orders are transmitted over secure internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology and other measures.
The Card Security Code (CVC/CVV/CID) is an additional three or four digit security code that is printed (not embossed) on the front or back of your credit card. The CVC/CVV/CID is an extra security measure to ensure that you are in possession of your own credit card.
If your card is authorised, the payment will be taken immediately and you will receive an e-mail confirming your order has been successful. Only paid orders will be handled. We will not charge you (afterwards) for any failed payment transactions.
Delivery
You will be notified by e-mail at various stages during the dispatching process of your order. If you have an account, you can login and check "My Orders" for the current status of your order. 
We try to send packages within 24 hours with the exception of weekends and during bank holidays. After your order is shipped you will receive a tracking number by e-mail to follow your package along its trip to your doorstep.
Unfortunately we are unable to change a delivery address once the order has been dispatched. Please note that we won’t ship your package again if you weren’t able to collect your package.
Once your order is sent, you will receive a tracking number by e-mail to follow your package along its trip to your doorstep. Feel free to contact Customer Service if you have any further questions or concerns regarding the shipment of your order.
Your order will be delivered within 4 - 7 working days. A signature may be required on receipt. If you are not around to take the delivery of your parcel, the carrier will leave a calling card telling you how to collect your package. Alternatively we will try two more times to deliver the package.
Your shipping is free of charge for any order above €50,-. For any order below €50,- you will be charged € 4,95 per order.
If you receive a wrong item or something is missing, feel free to contact Customer Service. Please send as many details as possible including specific order numbers.
Returning

Returns

Right of withdrawal

If for whatever reason you wish to return your online purchase, you can return unused items within 60 days of receiving your complete order. This is called the withdrawal period. Please note that our fragrances and detergent can’t be returned when the seal is broken. If you have received a damaged or faulty item, please first contact us here so we can help you out in the best way.

Also, we need to receive the returned items within the 60 day withdrawal period. You can return the items in two ways: by post/courier, or in an official Scotch & Soda shop in Austria.

If you decide to return an item, please use our Online Return Portal, as this is the most sustainable option. If you prefer paper, you can also download our return form here.


By Post

Returning your order by post or courier is free of charge. We are not responsible for products that are returned to us in error. We do recommend you use a courier service which provides insurance for the value of the items you return or at least provides you with proof of shipment.

Make sure the items you want to return are properly packaged.

  • Put the item(s) you wish to return
  • Please stick the return label onto the package, covering the old label and bring your package to a drop-off point. Please make sure you keep the shipping receipt as proof.
  • Please note that we can only accept items which are undamaged and have the original labels attached.

Your refund will be processed within 7 days after we have received your return in our warehouse. The amount of your return will be refunded via the original payment method.


At an official Scotch & Soda store

You have the possibility to return your order in one of our official Scotch & Soda Stores in Austria. You can find your closest official store via our Storefinder.

  • Bring a proof of purchase such as the delivery note or order confirmation.
  • When the return meets all conditions set out on the "Returns" page, you will receive a delivery receipt in the store. Please keep it safe.

We can't return cash for your online purchases in the store. You will receive promptly and within 14 days a refund for the returned items to the account you used for the original purchase.


Reimbursement

When you have used your right of withdrawal, we will refund the amount paid for the item concerned (including shipping costs – if any) without delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of the message that you wish to terminate the agreement. Note that we must have received the item or that you can prove that you have returned the item. If you have chosen a different shipping method than the cheapest standard delivery method used by Scotch & Soda, we won't repay any extra costs resulting from this.

Unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, we will refund you by using the same payment method you used to purchase the item. In any case, there will be no charge for this refund.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to exchange items.


Fitting items

During the 60 day withdrawal period, you can use the product to the extent necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the article in the same way that you would do in a physical store. For example, you may fit the article, but do not wear it outside.

When you return an item that you have damaged, has been washed, the labels have been removed, the item is incomplete or contains other signs of wear showing that you have used the item more extensively than described above, you are liable for any depreciation in the value of the item. Scotch & Soda will deduct this of from the total amount to be refunded to you.


Defective items

Besides your right of withdrawal, you are entitled by law to a proper product, or as the law calls it 'a product that complies with the agreement'. Should this not be the case, you are (depending on the circumstances) eligible for an exchange of the item or a full refund. If you have a complaint about a product you have purchased online, please contact customer support. Please provide as much information as possible, preferably including the order numbers in question.

If we do not offer a proper solution for your complaint, you can also forward your complaint to a licensed dispute resolution body via the European ODR Platform: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are not obliged to cooperate to an alternative dispute settlement.

Unfortunately we aren’t able to exchange your return. Once we receive your return in good condition, we will refund the returned articles within 14 working days. If the article you are looking for is still available, you can make a new order in our webstore.
As soon as we receive your return in our warehouse, we will notify you by e-mail. Please note that it takes a while to process your return. A refund will follow within 14 working days.
Ordering
You don’t need an account to order in our webstore. However, setting up an account will allow you to view past orders and the status of your current order. Creating an account is easy and can be done at the checkout.
If you forget your password you can easily request a new one by using the "Forgot Password" button on the log in page. When you enter your e-mail address a new password will be sent automatically. If you are (still) having login problems, please feel free to contact Customer Service.
Unfortunately we are not able to change an order once it has been submitted; this includes changing the size and colour of an item, removing an item or changing the delivery address. Of course you have the right to cancel the complete order. If you want to cancel your order, please contact Customer Service.
You have the right to cancel your order within seven working days. However, as we try to proceed your order as fast as possible, it might be shipped already. In this case, you may refuse the package when a delivery attempt is made or return all items and we will issue a full refund. If you want to cancel your order, please use our contact form and choose the option 'Cancellation' or call us during working days on 0031 (0)23 5677663.

Faulty article
You should inspect Scotch & Soda goods for faults as soon as you receive them. If you think there is a defect, please let us know straight away by contacting Customer Service explaining what’s wrong and attaching photo’s to your message. Please note that we must be notified within 14 days if any items received are defective or damaged.
