Senior Window Creative
Scotch & Soda is looking to add a Senior Window Designer to their Head Office team in Amsterdam to contribute to the growth of the company. This much sought-after role requires the individual to ideally have at least 5 years experience of working within a creative design department.
The role
We are looking for a confident and experienced individual who is used to working with mid to high end brands in the global fashion market.
You will work very closely with our designers and styling department to create inspirational window designs. You will be brainstorming creative designs and developing original concepts based on the design themes of our collections.
Hand sketching abilities are essential and we want to see portfolios that illustrate creative development and thought through to implementation of highly creative window displays and other 3D installations.
Skills
- Excellent Vectorworks and/or Sketchup skills as well as CS5 suite;
- Strong sense for the brand aesthetics and lifestyle related subjects that fit the brand;
- Attention to detail;
- Highly organized;
- Problem solver;

Digital Marketing Manager
Scotch & Soda is looking to add a Digital Marketing Manager to their Head Office team in Amsterdam to contribute to the growth of the company. This much sought-after role requires the individual to ideally have at least 5 years experience and is currently working with a fashion related brand that is both national and internationally recognized in the digital field. The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Marketing Manager.
Profile:
You are an experienced individual who is used to working with mid to high end brands in the global fashion market. You are familiar with developing, implementing and executing the online/digital strategy. As Digital Marketing Manager you will live and breathe the brand, raising awareness and the profile of the brand through all online communication channels. You must have an appreciation and thorough knowledge of the many and varied channels a online specialist needs to use, in getting messages across with a strong vision on digital for fashion.
You possess strong sense for the brand aesthetics and lifestyle related subjects that fit the brand. You work well within a team and should have excellent writing skills both Dutch & English. (Other languages are a plus).
The role:
• Manage the digital team within the marketing department;
• Expand, develop and implement an online digital strategy as larger part of marketing effort;
• Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed;
• Responsible for creating concepts for mobile apps;

Communication Manager
Scotch & Soda is looking to add a Communications Manager to their Head Office team in Amsterdam to contribute to the growth of the company. This much sought-after role requires the individual to ideally have at least 8 years experience working with a (international) fashion brand or in the PR field.
The Communications Manager will report to the Marketing Manager.
Profile:
You are an experienced individual who is used to working with mid to high end brands in the global fashion market. You are familiar with developing, implementing and executing PR strategies to secure brand and product editorial. As Communications Manager you will live and breathe the brand, raising awareness and the profile of the brand through all online and offline communication channels. Your fashion media contacts are global and current and you are used to working cross functionally (media/digital) to ensure an integrated approach to communications. You are able to ensure relevant (social media) coverage of all events, product launches or campaigns from Scotch & Soda.
You possess strong sense for the brand aesthetics and lifestyle related subjects that fit the brand. The Communications Manager will be able to create content for a wide variety of print and digital materials, with a strong emphasis on storytelling.
You work well within a team and should have excellent writing skills both Dutch & English. (Other languages are a plus)
The role:
• Manage the communication team within the marketing department;

• Manage PR-locals and all PR showrooms;

Web Developer
We are looking to add a web developer to our ambitious E-Commerce team in Hoofddorp to contribute to the growth of the company. If you are a team player and would like to work with a brand that would like to take their online/digital experience to the next level, please read further!
What will you be doing?
- You will adopt, develop and deploy scalable and appropriate web site solutions using the platform’s development framework together with our development party.
- You will assist the project manager on the release management process for all development tasks and projects
- You will perform complete testing of all developed units and components including but not limited to browser compatibility handling and including regression testing
- You will quickly build a working knowledge of all the companies back office systems and will work closely with IT on ensuring the ERP system is fit for purpose
- You will be up to date with the latest trends and developments, which inspire you to innovate solutions and ideas to contribute to the growth of the companies’ online and digital presence
- You will participate and brainstorm about new concepts and updates and be the bridge between marketing requirements and deliverables via the development agency
What will be expected from you?
Being a team player is key to the role and you will be working within a lean and driven team that are fully engaged in supporting the high growth plans we have for all our web sites across the globe.
- Relevant experience in web development; 3 + years experience using web development technologies such as HTML(5), CSS, Flash, Ajax, Java and JavaScript in an e commerce environment
- Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, HTML5 and XML;
- Relevant experience in design, interaction design, usability;
- Prior work with engineering tools such as bug tracking and source code control systems is required
- Experience in working with Adobe Photoshop is ideal;

What will you be doing?
- Optimisation of Retail stock
- Stock management between stores
- Functioning as first point of contact for stores regarding stock and product issues
- Functioning as first point of contact for Retail Warehouse
- Sales Reporting
- Optimising sales; additional purchasing for bestsellers, pushing stock from warehouse
- Assisting Retail Buyers
- Preparing markdown
- Preparing and actively taking part in weekly merchandising meeting
