Shrunk Autumn/Winter 2012
Scotch Shrunk proudly presents its new Fall/Winter 2012 collection. An exciting boys collection designed with love, care and the great attention to small details that Scotch & Soda is known for. Scotch Shrunk is all about creating an eclectic mix of vintage, surprising fabrics, prints and refined colours for confident little men. For Fall/Winter 2012, the design team created a unique collection of garments and accessories with four key themes in mind. First up is the sophisticated ‘Take a bow’ story, featuring a modern but comfortable take on costume design for the little gentleman that Shrunk is. This theme starts from blacks and whites, with fun details like sparkling suspenders, collars and ties. He feels good in comfy-fit shirts and smooth granddad tees, or charms the ladies in anti-fit jersey pants topped off with a boiled wool blazer. The collection offers extraordinary blazers, ranging from classic cuts to sporty jerseys. ‘Rock the Casbah’ on the other hand, is Shrunk’s winter version of the effortless bohemian style.
Think beaded details, fringes and Ikat or Batik patterns on chunky knits in warm winter colours. Key styles include all-over prints on wool and over-dyed, heavy washed qualities. When Shrunk is in the mood for something new, he jets off to ‘Coachella in space’ for a dreamy festival look, rocking happy clashes of colours and materials. The pants are printed, patched and washed by moonstones, and the classic raglan longsleeve tee comes in a star print that glows in the dark. In ‘Black Rock Desert’ a mad scientist meets army land where anything is possible. Sturdy shade materials like leather, canvas and denim are combined with antique hardware materials and mechanical junk. Camouflage pops up in unexpected places, like on a beautiful patchwork blazer or on camo shirts. Besides garments, the Scotch Shrunk Fall/Winter 2012 collection offers boys all the accessories they could ask for to enhance their personal sense of style.
Scotch and Soda Autumn/Winter 2012
Scotch & Soda proudly presents its Fall/Winter 2012 collection. A line of high quality items, defined by Scotch’s classic sense of style; adding a fresh, contemporary twist and lots of unique detailing to each garment, on the inside as much as on the outside. Scotch & Soda simply wants people to love their clothes and enjoy wearing them. Scotch is growing up as a brand, and so are the collections. This season, it’s time to say goodbye to some of the time-tested items in your wardrobe, to make room for a more mature and sophisticated look: a modern gentleman with a rebellious twist. Influences from all over the world are taken to achieve the characteristic eclectic Scotch style. In Tokyo, an old rucksack inspired detailing like leather patches and pop linings. On the streets of London, Paris and New York, the style of city dwellers sparked intelligent tailoring, chic finishes and sumptuous fabrics. Back in Amsterdam, the design team jumped into archives of vintage L’Officiel Homme editions and studied iconic men of the seventies, bringing upon this season’s colour palette of bottle green, rusty orange, brick and golden yellow, on a basis of blacks for that rock ‘n roll edge.
Going for this modern gentlemen look, Fall/Winter 2012 is the season to button up your dressed chambray shirt, and throw on some rocker pants with suspender belts. To keep the elements at bay, this collection holds a wide range of parkas with a touch of military. Other key items include corduroy pants in bright and bold colours, handcrafted flannels, beautiful mohair knit items, wool herringbone shirts and the reintroduction of ski pulls. The core of the collection has been updated and fine-tuned, offering the perfect basics in new fits and colours. For the holiday season, Scotch & Soda presents ‘Pièces Noires’: a selection of festive must-have items. Don’t take things too seriously, have your own take at black tie and dazzle in a head-to-toe velvet suited look or combine a sequin blazer with considered skinny jeans. To pay homage to the great icons that inspired this collection, there’s a new series of bow ties in different shapes, fabrics an colours, each by the name of their muse. There is no excuse to not over-accessorise this winter! Keep an eye out for the preppy belts in washed-out colours and shoe laces in unique colour patterns to compliment your brogues. Not to forget the leather wallets and iPad covers, the watch straps, pompom beanies, bright mohair scarves and much more...
R'belle Autumn/Winter 2012
Scotch R’Belle proudly presents its new Fall/Winter 2012 collection. A unique girls collection designed with love, care and the great attention to small details that Scotch & Soda is known for. Scotch R’Belle is all about mixing effortless chic, rock and bohemian aesthetics together into a signature eclectic style for confident little ladies. For Fall/Winter 2012, the design team focused on bringing the colours back into fall, in new unexpected fabric combinations like a wool jacket with nylon sleeves. A great effort went into comfort; soft-brushed sweats, easy-to-wear leggings, and cosy knits that don’t tickle. This results in a exciting collection of garments and accessories, created with four key themes in mind. First up is the sophisticated ‘Take a bow’ story, where dressing up is what counts!
On a basis of blacks and whites, this theme glitters and shimmers in the details, with sparkling suspenders, collars and necklaces. Key items include an exquisitely crafted dress and a giraffe skirt with matching jacket. On a different note, the girl with the messy hair finds her bohemian home in ‘Rock the Casbah’. This theme is all about earthy tones, indigo and sun bleached colours, and Ikat or Batik prints on warm winter qualities. Beads and authentic embroideries pop up everywhere. When R’Belle is in the mood for change, she jets of to ‘Coachella in space’ for a dreamy festival look with sparkling prints and shiny dresses. Key items include a chunky tie dyed cable knit full of beads and bright and chunky corduroy pants. Details like sequins, beads, pompons, little rivets and special buttons are splattered over all the items, and even the packaging is made in space. Fly me to the moon! In ‘Black Rock Desert’ however, a mad scientist meets army land where anything is possible. Think military-inspired sweats, a Mexican skull tee, a boiled wool motorcycle pull and quirky quilted college jackets. Besides garments, the Scotch R’belle Fall/Winter 2012 collection offers a wide range of accessories, this season including a pair of amazing wellies with matching umbrella to keep the elements at bay.
Maison Scotch Autumn/Winter 2012
From the Amsterdam-based design studio ‘Magasin d’une collectionneuse’, Maison Scotch proudly presents its Fall/Winter 2012 collection. A considered line of high quality items, designed with love and with great focus on the small details that Maison Scotch is known for. Paris chique meets New York rock ‘n roll. Creating a collection feels like an endless journey, gathering souvenirs, looking for vintage treasures on antique markets and making notes along the way. Fall/Winter 2012 is the sixth collection by the Amsterdam-based label. While staying true to the signature eclectic Maison Scotch feel, their style visibly evolves every season, as do the craftsmanship and refined detailing. This season, Maison Scotch presents a gorgeous dynamic collection, inspired by a wealth of inspiration from around the world. Influences from Paris give the collection its chique and feminine base. In New York, the visit to a museum on American Indian natives sparked weeks of sketching, hand-drawing Ikat-prints and designing bohemian garments with beautiful hand-beading, fringes and tassel details. In Stockholm, the design team fell in love with the way girls put together a fashionable edgy look, but in a cleaner, no-fuss way.
This comes to life in lots of white and blue tones throughout the collection; a chunky white knitted sweater with bright blue jeans and an indigo coloured scarf, the makings of a modern Eskimo. Key items this season include beautiful loose-fit washed silk shirts in subtle colours like blush, buttercup and neon coral. The beloved Maison Scotch skinny fit pants have been updated with a nicer leg fit and a higher back rise for extra comfort. The biker skinny is a statement piece for the winter, with different details like zips, studs and knee parts for each colour way. Soft rib cord pants pop up in unexpected colours like cobalt and washed purple. A lot of attention went into jackets this season, creating a number of statement pieces for your wardrobe. Look for unexpected combinations of fabrics; a traditional trench coat with leather sleeves, wool blazers with embellished shoulders, a soft knitted cardigan with sheer fabric on the back or a jacket in a mix of wool and silver nylon. Graphic- wise, Maison Scotch experimented with different techniques on tees and sweats like sequins, shiny foil and new photo-prints; it’s all about texture and feel. By the name of ‘Star de la Saison’, Maison Scotch handpicked a number of festive styles for the holiday season of 2012; from silk dresses to a knitted sweater with beads and a cotton voile top with sequins. Last but not least, many new must-have accessories have been added to the collection; think leather bags, warm winter scarves and gloves, bracelets, rings and necklaces, inspired by hardware. Let the winter begin!

Scotch Shrunk Amsterdams Blauw is designed with love, care and with the great attention to small details that Scotch & Soda is known for. For Fall/Winter 2012, the collection is built around the theme of a winter solstice festival. Just because the summer season is over, doesn’t mean that the fun has to end! Shrunk digs out those warm winter boots, throws on a thick knitted scarf and layers up in denim, to play his guitar by the bonfire. Key fits for boys this season include the ‘Strummer’: a 5-pocket skinny fit with added stretch, in a natural high-low contrast, available in a super fresh blue ‘Pyramid Lake’ wash.
The antifit ‘Brewer’ is a tapered carpenter with a low crotch, that comes with detachable suspender belts in a subtle 3D wash effect, to be worn either dressed up or in a laid back way, when Shrunk is cruising through town with his friends. The ‘Dean’ on the other hand, a loose tapered denim, looks like he’s been wearing it for ages in a medium stonewash with subtle fading, repairs and patches. Each item has amazing visible and hidden details, like inside pocket printing, special buttons and rivets and messages on labels. Besides bottoms, the Amsterdams Blauw boys collection features all the shirts and jackets a little gentleman like Shrunk needs to build up his personal denim wardrobe. Take the denim over-shirt: an in- between shirt with an antique brass zipper on the front closure, and contrasting chambray lining and button stitching. Scotch and Soda Amsterdams Blauw Autumn/Winter 2012
Scotch & Soda proudly presents its new Amsterdams Blauw® denim collection for Fall/Winter 2012. A line of high quality denim essentials for modern city dwellers. From jeans to shirts, jackets and accessories, all Amsterdams Blauw® products are made with great care and with an eye for detail. Scotch & Soda jeans are so well constructed, you could almost wear them inside out. This new season, the Amsterdam-based brand took inspiration from slow life in the fast lane of New York. The strong affinity between NYC and Amsterdam has inspired to make the most true Amsterdams Blauw® collection yet. When in The Big Apple, you always want to look your best and dress appropriately. Freshly shaved you put on a good formal denim shirt, matching tie and look the full ivy style, roaming the streets on vintage penny loafers or Quoddy’s. As Hardy Amies once said: ‘A man should look as if he has bought his clothes with intelligence, put them on with care and then forgotten all about them. The jeans in this collection were named after some of the favourite NYC hang-outs of the design team. Take the ‘Stump’, after Stumptown coffee roasters: a new loose tapered cropped leg 5-pocket model, available in the heavily stonewashed ‘Rockaway’. Or the ‘Gitane’, best breakfast cafe in town, brought to you in the ‘Spotted Pig’ wash with 3D evolution effects.
This process gives the garment a naturally worn-in look with beautifully raised and curved moustaches, pleats smoothly following suit through to the thigh area, attractively compact back knee moustaches and hem folds. The ‘Freeman’ is a new chino style, with a twisted slim tapered leg, highlighted in the ‘5 O’clock Shadow’: a 5oz 2/1 RHT white listing selvedge pant. This collection also features some tasty updates to the popular Ralston and Dean fits: the ‘Wear & Repair’ and ‘Hot Toddy’ eco dirty tints. The look obtained through this special colorant and tinting method is extremely natural, with a worn-out and aged aspect. The tint is not an all-over intense hue but rather faded out, irregular and dusty, sitting well into the fabric. There is also a premium selection of denims within the Amsterdams Blauw® line, by the name of LOT 22. This collection is specially laundered in Italy using the most premium fabrics and washed only by hand. This new season, continuing a love affair with the pure natural origins of denim, Scotch offers its favourite dry Dean in a heavyweight 14.5 oz Kuroki red listing selvedge by the name of ‘Mr. Yasuda’, New York’s best sushi chef. Don’t lose any time on this one, pull it on right away and let the magic begin. For those who like a head start, this LOT 22 collection also features a Ralston in the new ‘Tommy Guns’ green wash, which utilises ozone to obtain the lightening and brightening of abraded areas, without adding a drop of chemical products. Besides bottoms, the Fall/Winter 2012 collection offers jackets, shirts and accessories; favourites this season being the constructed denim jacket in a dark indigo aged weft denim with the crispy ‘Blue Razor’ rinse, and a rework of the classic worker shirt in washed down indigo multi checks. By the name of Home Alone, Amsterdams Blauw® newly introduces a selection of sweat wear basics. Nothing beats the combination of denim and a classic grey melange sweat, and what better to throw over a dark denim chambray shirt than a blue indigo over-died sweat.
R'Belle Amsterdams Blauw Autumn/Winter 2012

R’Belle digs up those vintage winter boots, throws on a thick knitted scarf and layers up in denim to join her friends by the bonfire. Key fits for girls this season include ‘Le Voyage’; a jegging fit that comes in five different rusty coloured rib cord options. The ‘Naoyo’ is a super sturdy fit that comes with detachable suspender belts, and has a unique wash with scratches and repair patching. Perfect for the effortlessly cool girl that R’Belle is.

Maison Scotch Amsterdams Blauw Autumn/Winter 2012
Maison Scotch proudly presents its Amsterdams Blauw® denim collection for Fall/Winter 2012. A line of high quality denim essentials for effortless style. From bottoms to jackets, dresses, shorts and accessories, all Amsterdams Blauw® products are designed with great care and with an eye for detail. Maison Scotch jeans are so well constructed, you could almost wear them inside out. This new season, the designers were inspired by a mix of two cities: living in the fast-pace, buzzing city of New York, with the Bedouin mind state of Marrakech. This results in a line of well-considered, carefully detailed denim garments with a relaxed feel and bohemian touch. Maison Scotch Amsterdams Blauw® is known for its unique fresh blues; by adding only a pinch of stretch, the jeans maintain their vintage blue feel with 3D details, without losing their excellent fit. Great new washes this season are the ‘New Amsterdam’: an Italian fresh blue wash, with nice repairs and beautifully raised and curved moustaches, giving a naturally worn, washed-out and aged look. Also new is the ‘Rust & Dust’: a tint that’s not an all over intense hue, but rather faded out, irregular and dusty, with paint spatters as a fun detail. The popular skinny Parisienne is now updated in a garment dyed satin weave, in warm Bedouin colours that will be hard to choose from, like orange, brick, bordeaux, bottle green and navy. The Mademoiselle Plus, a slim tapered cropped fit with suspender belts, is now available in the intense ‘Bedouin Blue’ wash that has a soft hand feel but is still firm. Besides bottoms, Maison Scotch Amsterdams Blauw® offers all the essentials you need for your denim wardrobe, like jackets, shirts, skirts, tees, shorts sweats and accessories. Must-haves this season are the plain white A-line tee with a studded denim collar, and the melange tees in warm colours with embroidered and sequin necklines. Top this off with a strong black or blue buttoned denim jacket and you’re good to go!
